We are seeking a highly skilled Postgres Database Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex data systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Postgres, particularly in AWS Aurora Postgres. He or she will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance database systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing complex data systems that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Providing expert-level support for database performance, scalability, and security.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on development and operational experience with Postgres (AWS Aurora Postgres).
  • Experience with AWS Data Migration Service.
  • Extensive performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hosting on cloud.
