Job Title: Cloud Database Solutions Architect

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Solutions Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement OCI networking, compute, storage, and database services for optimal performance and security.
  • Migrate databases from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Develop, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle databases and associated applications to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance, security, and availability of database systems, ensuring they meet business requirements.
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies using OCI tools to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide support during implementation and testing phases, ensuring successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing OCI projects, including networking and database management.
  • Strong hands-on skills with OCI Console, CLI, and APIs; proficiency with IaaS, Terraform, and Ansible is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database 19c and Oracle E-Business Suite v12.2.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Middleware, WebLogic Suite, and Exadata Cloud Service.
  • Experience with cloud CI/CD tools and the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area.
