Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Lead to join our team at Experience Destination in Guwahati. This is a full-time on-site role that requires developing and implementing social media marketing strategies, creating engaging content, optimizing social media presence, managing public relations, and fostering communication with the target audience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to find relevant stories from Northeast India and maintain a social media calendar.
  • Develop and execute content ideation plans, assist in production, script writing, shooting, managing editors, captioning, and strategizing complete content plans and outputs.
  • Optimize company pages on various platforms, moderate user-generated content, analyze social data, and collaborate with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
  • Cultivate collaborations with travel stakeholders (influencers, content creators, travel educators, local storytellers, chefs, property owners, etc.) to help create content and increase digital distribution.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in social media.
Qualifications
  • A comprehensive understanding of various social media platforms and how to optimize content for maximum engagement.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • A knack for photography and videography.
  • Comfortable with editing tools like VN, Canva, and Reel editor.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of North-East India and its tourism industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze social media trends and metrics.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in a related field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing or a similar field. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
