Area Growth Manager
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to drive sales and distribution growth in assigned areas. As an Area Growth Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales, manage distributors, and improve overall business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement distributor operations strategies, including mapping, appointment, and inventory management.
- Motivate channel partners to drive business growth and evolution.
- Monitor distributor ROI and maintain inventory levels.
- Implement guardrails for stock condition and secondary claim management.
- Manage geography sales progression on a quarterly and monthly basis.
- Ensure weekly flightening and availability of all SKUs.
- Develop and grow New Product Developments (NPD).
- Manage Consumer Facing Activities (CFA) and sales operations.
- Benchmark competition in the region.
- Apply a channel-specific approach for each RE.
- Plan tradeloads to increase volume and visibility.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales & distribution in FMCG Industry-General Trade.
- In-depth geography knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Team management skills.
- Grievances management.
- Effective time management.
