Seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support organization, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest level of technical expertise.

Job Summary:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to our customers, utilizing your knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 technologies, particularly Microsoft Teams and apps in the Office Admin center.

  • Responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting data captures and trace logs to resolve customer issues in production environments.
  • Owning, investigating, and solving complex customer technical issues while acting as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
  • Engaging with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools driving Microsoft product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support via various channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, often involving multiple systems and applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams features, functionalities, and best practices, with experience working with network capture and analysis tools like Fiddler and Developer tools (Browser). Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Participating in on-call rotations and providing after-hours support as needed.
  • Contributing to the development of new processes and procedures to improve technical support efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Office 365 technologies and emerging trends in the industry.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 technologies, particularly Microsoft Teams and Office Admin center.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with tools like Log Reader, Fiddler and Browser Dev tools.
  • Experience with HTTP and HTTPS Request Code and API requests and responses (Graph API is desirable).
