Job Summary
The role of Technical IT Specialist involves providing comprehensive technical support across various IT infrastructure components, encompassing end-user services, network systems, servers, and IT systems.
This position is responsible for ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and IT service management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
- Manage user requests and incidents via an IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
- Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.
Mandatory Skills Required
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support/infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
