Logistics Business Development Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through effective lead generation and conversion strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue new business leads, leveraging your extensive network and industry knowledge to establish connections and drive conversions.
  2. Develop and implement targeted lead generation strategies to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive long-term loyalty.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including lead contacts, follow-ups, and closure outcomes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor analysis, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and find creative solutions.
