Human Resources Manager Job Description

The role of a Human Resources Manager is to execute the Performance Management process, develop and maintain job descriptions, and coordinate Reward & Recognition programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and implement employee engagement strategies that align with business goals.
  2. Consult with management and other leadership to identify business processes and develop strategies for improvement.
  3. Identify and evaluate business initiatives to determine the best approach to meet company objectives.
  4. Develop data analysis methodologies and management reporting systems to inform business decisions.
  5. Design effective strategic planning methods to drive organizational success.
  6. Implement organisational effectiveness interventions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  7. Develop competency models to define desired skills and abilities.
  8. Plan and manage optimal manpower plans to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  9. Oversee the overall training and development needs of the organization, including identifying training gaps and implementing training programs.
  10. Support the Training Head in developing training programs and evaluating their effectiveness.
  11. Design compensation structures that are competitive and aligned with industry practices.
  12. Ensure efficient delivery of pay and benefits through robust, transparent, and legally compliant processes.

The ideal candidate will have an MBA or MSW in HR from a reputable institute, with 10 years of experience in the Retail, Service, and Manufacturing sectors. They will be able to develop advanced workforce planning capabilities, implement effective HR philosophies, and reduce administrative work for HR business partners.
