Job Overview:

  • This role is responsible for leading the sales strategy and process management within a branch, driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve defined performance targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and channel partners to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage growth and profitability of the branch by maintaining competitive knowledge and creating effective sales strategies.
  • Expand and retain the company's customer base by developing strong liaisons with clients and channel partners.
  • Capitalize on business opportunities and plan joint promotional activities with developers.
  • Facilitate the development of new locations to penetrate new markets and increase business.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the lending process at various stages including inquiry, application, verification, and disbursement.
  • Manage post-sales customer/channel partner escalation.
  • Co-ordinate and supervise key departments internally and strategies roadmaps for lending products.
  • Managing branch operating costs including cost of acquisition, expenses, and operations.
  • Closely monitor quality of book ensuring minimum delinquency at the branch level.
  • Support closure of stress accounts and move them out of portfolio by collaborating with collections team.
Team Management:
  • Optimize and closely monitor team productivity by managing sales managers to assure achievement of business targets and profitability.
  • Collaborate effectively with departments including Channel partners.
  • Lead and supervise SM & RM team through hiring, training, reward, and recognition.
  • Responsible for overall administrative functioning of the branch.
  • Ensure active distribution span of control is maintained at the branch level as per norms.
Industry & Governance:
  • Keep abreast of market trends and competitor intelligence to build effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Establish internal controls for legal compliance and conduct periodic audits to detect non-compliance & frauds and devise actions for correction and prevention.
  • Ensure understanding of markets / competition / process and products available in the markets and provide positive feedback to stay ahead in the market.
  • Ensure compliance to all Audit / NHB regulations as well as policies and procedures of the organization.
