Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced technical developer to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work on maintaining and developing solutions for the banking industry.
- Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services provided to clients and employees.
- Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, including analyzing user needs, developing new features, automated testing, and deployment.
- Evaluate and implement quality, security, reliability, and compliance requirements to ensure our solutions meet high standards.
- Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.
- Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contribute to hiring processes, and participate in internal communities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
- 8+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in Core banking integration area, with a strong focus on development.
- Able to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms, and make long-term sustainability decisions.
- Strong communication skills, including presentations and technical writing.
- Good knowledge of Java and relevant Java tech stack.
- Awareness of clean coding practices and 'Clean Code' principles.
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development, Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.
- API-first design experience and understanding of modern architecture and design patterns.
- Hands-on DevOps experience and ability to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication and presentation skills.
- Highly proactive team player, able to take responsibility and work independently.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- At least 8 years of experience as a SRE in Core Banking Integration Area.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
