Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and property law, with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.

The role involves end-to-end management of property transactions and conveyancing, including drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements, including leave and license agreements, lease agreements, sale deeds, MOUs, and title documents.
  • Providing legal support for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals, including due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Ensuring compliance with local real estate laws, including regulations.
  • Liaising with external counsels, government bodies, and regulatory authorities on property-related issues.
  • Handling legal documentation for property registration, stamp duty, and registration formalities.
  • Maintaining legal records and contract database for all real estate transactions.
  • Conducting legal due diligence of properties, including title verification, encumbrance checks, etc.

Key qualifications include:

  • LLB degree with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to real estate, property law, and conveyancing.
  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating agreements.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Experience handling property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes.
  • Ability to liaise with government authorities and external counsel effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining legal trackers, records, and documentation.
  • Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).
