Key Investment Opportunity

The Chief Investment Officer is VCMint's core investment strategy. The CIO owns the funnel from sourcing to execution, building a high-quality deal pipeline and running rigorous sectoral and company-specific evaluations.

  • Sourcing: Build and maintain a quality pipeline of seed/early-stage deals, leveraging your network and representing VCMint at ecosystem events.
  • Evaluation & IC Prep: Run fast screens and deep dives, build financial models, and prepare materials for an efficient Investment Committee cadence.
  • Diligence Leadership (LDD/FDD/Tech/Commercial): Define diligence scope, select/manage external partners, and synthesize findings into go/no-go recommendations.
  • Transaction Execution: Support term sheet design, coordinate with counsel, and maintain accurate closing files.
  • Portfolio Support & Follow-ons: Onboard each company, drive targeted help, track portfolio health, and prepare follow-on cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ex-founder/operator or investor with meaningful deal evaluation experience; comfort spanning seed to growth.
  • Credible access across founders, angels, bankers, and operators—especially within India.
  • Strong grasp of unit economics, cohort/retention, marketplaces, SaaS metrics, working-capital cycles, and path to profitability.
  • Hands-on with LDD/FDD scopes; ability to frame key questions and pressure-test assumptions.
