The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and advanced engineering tools such as Codeware Compress and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and analyzing pressure vessels, reactors, storage tanks, and fabricated skids in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div 1 and international standards.
  • Conducting mechanical strength calculations, including shell and head thickness, nozzle reinforcement, wind/seismic load, support design, and weld sizing.
  • Executing FEA for stress analysis and load verification using tools like ANSYS and SolidWorks Simulation.
  • Creating accurate and complete fabrication drawings, welding details, nozzle orientation drawings, section views, and isometric piping drawings.
  • Preparing comprehensive design dossiers, BOMs, and as-built drawings for submission and compliance.
  • Providing technical support during fabrication, shop inspections, and client FATs.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for mechanical and fabrication design.
  • Advanced understanding of ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and international fabrication standards.
  • Hands-on experience in FEA-based stress analysis and structural optimization.
  • Solid grasp of seismic and wind load calculations.
  • In-depth knowledge of welding design and cleanroom equipment design.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical layout drawings, and piping configurations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pressure vessel and process equipment design for industries.
  • Hands-on experience with FEA tools for structural analysis and compliance.
  • Exposure to certified fabrication environments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and preferably Codeware Compress.
