We are seeking an expert in naval architecture to join our team. The successful candidate will have 12-20 years of experience in designing and developing digital solutions for large container ships.

  • You will analyze data on container ship operations to identify trends and patterns.
  • You will conceptualize and build digital twins of large container vessels, including new and old ships in the fleet.
  • You will gather relevant data needed to build container ship digital twins.
  • You will guide data scientists with domain inputs for building digital twins.
  • You will develop digital twin models that include fuel performance curves, vessel hydrodynamic stability, and safety thresholds at bad weather conditions.

You will also model the effect of various parameters on fuel consumption, such as windage, vessel speed, drift, trim, heel, hull condition, propeller condition, engine condition, waves impact, wind impact, and currents impact.

Your skills will enable us to build tactical solutions for avoiding parametric and synchronous rolling, including methods to alert concerned people with recommendations.

This is a senior role that requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. If you have experience in building or running solutions like vessel digital twin, vessel hydrodynamic simulation, and excellent appreciation of data science subjects, we want to hear from you.
