Job Overview

We seek a skilled Taxation Specialist to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with ERP platforms.

This role requires both taxation expertise and technical troubleshooting capabilities to ensure accurate tax calculations and seamless system operations across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Apply expertise in Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax across different jurisdictions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Tax Calculation Rules, Tax Jurisdictions, and Product Taxability Assignments
  • Support ERP integrations with tax platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion and internal systems)
  • Ensure accuracy of tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations
  • Manage Tax Configuration, Tax Categories, and Exemption Certificates within tax systems
  • Support Tax Reporting and Compliance, including generating reports for tax filing

Responsibilities

  • Support Tax Reporting and Compliance, including generating reports for tax filing and audit purposes
  • Handle Tax Accruals and Reconciliations to ensure General Ledger accuracy
  • Receive, analyze, and prioritize related support tickets
  • Provide timely solutions to users
  • Document resolution steps and knowledge base articles
  • Support system upgrades and patches
  • Monitor system performances and recommend improvements

Tech Requirements

  • Perform SQL & Data Analysis by querying databases for tax calculations, transaction history, and reconciliation
  • Troubleshoot integration issues including debugging tax calculation

  • Proven experience in taxation, preferably in an ERP or similar environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
