Role Overview:

  1. Audit and Taxation Lead: Oversee the management of a team responsible for audit and taxation, ensuring accurate and timely submissions of tax returns, declarations, and mandated reports.
  2. Leadership Development: Foster a collaborative environment by providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
  3. Tax Compliance Expertise: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations by maintaining accurate records and submitting required documents on time.
  4. Financial Statements Preparation: Supervise the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP.
  5. Tax Calculation Specialist: Calculate current, advance, and deferred tax based on established accounting policies.
  6. Transfer Pricing Management: Maintain up-to-date transfer pricing files to ensure regulatory compliance.
  7. Audit Process Coordination: Efficiently manage external audit processes to optimize time and cost effectiveness.
  8. External Relationships Management: Develop and maintain relationships with external consultants and advisors.
  9. Process Improvement Initiatives: Implement Continuous Process Improvement (CI) mindset and standardize business processes to enhance efficiency.
  10. Tax Planning Support: Collaborate with the Global Tax Manager to develop tax planning strategies and support strategic projects.
  11. Documentation Management: Establish and maintain transparent work instructions to ensure consistency.
  12. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize potential threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Leadership Expertise: Proven ability to lead remote teams and motivate staff
  • Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a proactive attitude
  • Collaborative Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
