Job Description

As a wind sales professional, you will be responsible for evaluating the site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio while ensuring the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Re-assess existing/planned wind farms using an internal tool chain to confirm the compatibility of certain upgrades and the turbine-specific structural integrity.
  • Assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, run bucket approaches, and assess the possibility for lifetime extension.
  • Create benefit calculations, drive validation campaigns, and initiate the implementation of upgrades to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders.
  • Harness industry knowledge to build a strong network and stay up-to-date on new technological developments.
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a strong technical background.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
