Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, analyze, and optimize wind turbine generator foundations ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize various types of wind turbine generator foundations including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations including gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue, and other relevant loads.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and others.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical support to business development, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structures.
  • Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power and Utilities sector with focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Technical skills including software proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
