Job Summary:

As a Sales Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our life insurance business through bank customers at various branches across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive wallet share in allocated bank branches with focus on product mix to enhance revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve pre-set business targets on ANP, case count, active branch, active sales staff, and various KPIs for designated branches.
  • Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to formulate and execute business implementation plans.
  • Motivate and lead branch staff along with Bank RM to ensure seamless execution of applications sourced.
  • Identify and leverage the right database within the branch to ensure authentic documentation processes.
  • Build strategic relationships with the Bank Sales/operations team to ensure effective meeting of business targets and productivity objectives for allocated branches.
  • Prospect and engage with customers within and outside the branch as required to drive business growth.
  • Establish, agree, and implement short-term and long-term plans to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business success.
  • Achieve branch RM activation targets through focused efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Bank Sales/operations team to conduct joint sales calls as a cohesive unit to achieve business objectives.
  • Secure commitment from partners towards achievement of business objectives.
  • Manage relationships between internal teams and channel partners to foster sales growth and maintain high levels of responsiveness to requirements from Channel Partners.
  • Provide exceptional support to channel partners as the face of the parent company.
  • Effectively execute marketing activities as per Partner requirements.
  • Ensure timely issuance of policies by resolving all pending issues.
  • Maintain an optimal persistency ratio.
  • Deliver prompt post-sales service across all domains.
  • Strategize and work closely with RMs on business plan execution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and other regulatory standards.
  • Be a champion for process and product excellence, promoting adherence to policies and procedures to cultivate a compliance culture within the team.
  • Adhere to training roadmaps.
  • Provide timely reports to Supervisors as per their requirements.
  • Comply with the TALIC code of conduct.
