Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business intelligence, a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Business Intelligence Management: Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion; manage users and user roles
  • Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary
  • Business Data Processing: Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
  • Reporting: Help develop reports and analyses; generate reports from single or multiple systems
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports
  • Training: Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or related field
  • Work experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a related field
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
