Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Raffles Udaipur. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to meet the needs of our guests
  • Ensure the maintenance of high standards of kitchen hygiene, safety, and security
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to plan and execute special events and banquets
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to meet budgetary requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff
