Product Director - Virtual Private Network Services

This role is accountable for leading the end-to-end product management and development of Tata Communications' Global Virtual Private Network (GVPN) Services to achieve strategic, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities include driving product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle management. This includes developing innovative solutions, expanding network capabilities, and enhancing customer experience across diverse markets.

  • Product P&L Ownership:
  • Accountable for driving and achieving the product's financial targets: To drive product strategy, roadmap and execution to achieve GVPN P&L objectives (Gross revenue, Net revenue, EBITDA and EBIT)

The ideal candidate will have a strong techno-commercial and analytical skill set, with 15-20 years of experience in Product Management & Product Development including GVPN Services. A Management Degree in marketing is preferable.

Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology degree required. Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen are essential for this role.

About the Role:

  • Lead and drive the end-to-end product conceptualization, development, enhancement & life cycle management of GVPN Services portfolio.
  • Support Sales, Channels, Solutions and Commercial teams around customized solutioning, pricing and provisioning for services.
  • Drive Annual Operating Plan process to define strategy & roadmap of the product portfolio to meet the revenue & costs (Network/IT) forecast.
  • Provide and lead input for policy/regulatory matters concerning the Product and ensure regulatory and legal compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology degree required.
  • 15-20 years of experience in Product Management & Product Development including GVPN Services.
