Job Description

As a Resource Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for effectively managing resource engagement requests and overseeing the utilization of resources. You will analyze operational results, promote staff development, and provide information for short-term and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in implementing scheduling processes and engagement management;
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand business needs and drive consistency;
  • Generate reports and provide analysis to assist in staffing decisions;
  • Monitor schedules to ensure effective resource utilization;
  • Implement firmwide programs through markets as needed;
  • Facilitate scheduling meetings and resolve issues in a timely manner;
  • Administer and participate in scheduling system and process assimilation;

In addition, you will:

  • Understand line of business and/or solution set business needs, strategy, offerings/products, and challenges;
  • Maintain communication with internal clients and adapt expectations for timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy, service quality, thoroughness, and sense of urgency;
  • Provide input to Career Advisors relative to utilization and talent development;

Responsibilities also include coordinating with LPD and HR LPD SMEs to roll out local courses effectively, utilizing best practices, and staying up-to-date on market trends and upgrades of scheduling technology offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree Preferred or 3-5 years relevant scheduling experience - Required;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Excel - Required;
  • Effective organization and time management skills - Required;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written with diverse audiences at all levels - Required;
  • Resource Management or Project Management Certifications - Preferred;

Experience in LOB or Solution Set supporting is also preferred.

Leadership Skills

As a leader, you will be expected to:

  • Facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization, and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders;
  • Drive collaboration and communication between teams;
  • Process driven and ability to help train/drive/develop these processes to create unity and consistency across all offices within line of business and/or solution set.
