This role offers the opportunity to work with and learn cutting-edge AI techniques. Our team is comprised of ex-Deloitte, ex-EY, and ex-Google professionals who are pushing the boundaries to make a paradigm shift in Tariffs & Taxes management at a global level. This is a very topical subject given the ongoing Trade War between the US and many countries.
Role Description:The Tax Analyst intern will be responsible for applied research in Indirect tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategies from a Product development perspective. The intern will also perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.
This is an office-based internship with no remote or hybrid options. We are based in north Bangalore (Hebbal).
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science strongly preferred. Only BCom/Commerce graduates should not apply.
- Interest in pursuing further research towards a Master's or PhD in a related field.
- Deep research interest in Taxation, strategic and tactical implications on Trade, impact on GDP, and Tax Compliance.
- Experience in research methodologies and techniques.
