We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead our direct tax strategy and compliance efforts. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with leadership and business units to ensure efficient tax planning and adherence to all applicable direct tax laws.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of relevant experience to make a measurable impact while mentoring finance team members and staying ahead in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing direct tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position
  • Researching, interpreting, and applying relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance
  • Preparing and reviewing direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
  • Managing tax audits and coordinating responses and documentation for tax authorities
  • Advising internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions
  • Monitoring changes in direct tax laws and assessing their business impact
  • Identifying tax saving opportunities while minimizing tax liabilities and risks
  • Providing guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • CA qualification with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex tax legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior finance professionals
