We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development professional to drive client acquisition in the US financial services sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a sales pipeline, and nurturing leads to offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation.
You must have a deep understanding of core accounting principles and a proven ability to use a consultative sales approach to build relationships and close new client deals.
- Drive client acquisition through proactive outreach and lead generation.
- Manage a sales pipeline and nurture leads to convert into new clients.
- Offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation to US clients.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers by leveraging financial expertise.
- Collaborate with internal accounting teams to scope projects and present tailored solutions.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in client prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management for professional services.
- A Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
Skills
- Proven sales track record in a service-oriented market.
- Deep knowledge of core accounting principles, including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and common tax compliance and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive and results-driven.
- Familiarity with financial software and technology to effectively communicate their value proposition to prospective clients.
