Job Summary:
As a key member of our culinary team, the Executive Sous Chef plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation in all kitchen areas
* Ensure that all food products are prepared and presented in accordance with company standards and guidelines
* Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability
* Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
