Lead Rural Financial Growth

Job Description:

RuGr is a pioneering API-first banking platform serving rural India. We aim to democratize digital banking, driving impactful change across underserved markets through innovation and technology.

The ideal candidate will lead our national sales function, defining and executing the go-to-market strategy. This role requires expertise in enterprise sales, account management, and strategic partnerships within the financial services or fintech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development initiatives and grow key enterprise accounts.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization.
  • Define and implement effective sales processes, KPIs, and pipeline forecasting models.
  • Cultivate senior-level relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining focus on long-term strategic growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in driving multi-channel B2B sales, enterprise partnerships, and revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise in sales operations, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in fintech, banking-as-a-service, digital lending, or related financial sectors is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's/Masters' degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA is a plus.
