VP & Business Head – D2R eCommerce/Rural Commerce

Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced leader to head our D2R eCommerce/Rural Commerce business, focusing on consumer durables. As VP & Business Head, you'll be responsible for driving growth, building a strong sales and distribution network, and developing strategies to penetrate rural markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in D2R eCommerce/Rural Commerce business

- Sales and Distribution: Build and manage sales and distribution networks across rural areas

- Category Management: Develop and manage product categories to meet rural consumer needs

- Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to reach rural consumers

- Partnerships: Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and rural influencers

- Team Management: Build and manage high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and operations

Requirements:

- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in D2R eCommerce, rural commerce, or consumer durables sales/distribution

- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of driving growth and building successful sales and distribution networks in rural areas

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of rural markets, consumer behavior, and distribution channels

- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing teams

Preferred Experience:

- eCommerce Platforms: Experience with platforms like Meesho, Udaan, DealShare, ElasticRun

- Consumer Durables: Experience in sales/distribution of consumer durables in rural areas, such as Samsung, Whirlpool, Voltas rural
