They are now poised to scale their ESP division to 3 X, targeting both Indian and international markets, including Southeast Asia, LATAM, and Africa.
The firm is known for its strong technical capabilities and customized solutions for core sectors such as Steel, Cement, Sugar, Power, and Sponge Iron.
Position Summary: This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for complete P&L ownership of the ESP division.
The Business Head will be expected to drive aggressive growth, develop high-performing sales teams, expand market share, and build global presence.
We are not looking for just a functional leader – but a visionary growth driver who can scale business exponentially with a strategic yet execution-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities: Own and deliver 3-year vision of scaling ESP business to 3 XEnd-to-end P&L responsibility (domestic + international).
Build and lead a high-performing national sales team and international dealer/agent network.
Expand presence in key verticals: Cement, Steel, Power, Sugar, and Sponge Iron.
Deep dive into underperforming geographies and team members; identify gaps and resolve.
Engage with OEMs and large EPC clients for repeat and turnkey business.
Lead strategic marketing, branding, positioning, and reputation management for ESP.
Bring strong sales acumen to break into mid and large enterprises.
Drive retrofit and modernization business for existing ESP installations.
Create differentiated technical-commercial proposals and drive CXO-level discussions.
Establish global dealer/distributor network in priority regions (Malaysia, Thailand, South America, Africa).
Work closely with Promoter to minimize his involvement in day-to-day operations.
Must-Have Experience & Attributes:15+ years of progressive experience in capital/process equipment sales.
Proven track record of leading 2z+ growth in 3-4 years Exposure to core industries like Steel, Cement, Power, Sugar, etc.
Experience in selling high-value engineered products / capital goods.
Strong leadership, team building, and performance management skills.
Hands-on experience in Indian + international markets.
P&L management exposure, preferably with export sales margins.
Excellent customer relationship building and CXO engagement skills.
Strategic thinker with operational discipline and structured execution.
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence outcomes.
Preferred Background: Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Electrical) preferred; MBA is a plus.
Experience in companies with technically complex and high-value solutions.
Prior exposure to pollution control equipment / process engineering firms ideal.
Candidates from capital equipment companies who have also led international expansions will be preferred.
