Financial Operations Leader Job Description
Job Summary:

The Finance Manager oversees financial operations, ensuring efficient management and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage IT budget to ensure organizational priorities are met.
  • Analysis of financial statements and MIS to provide insights on IT spending and resource allocation.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders to assess project costs and financial impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee revenue recognition as per billing milestones, contract and engagement letters, and collection thereof as per agreed credit norms.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships to optimize costs.
  • Track financial performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 6-8 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the IT/ITES sector, in a Software Development Unit.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable information.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
