Key Role: Financial Service Center Leader

We are looking for a seasoned leader to head our Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) in India.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale finance operations and shared services in a multinational environment.

This role is crucial in driving the growth and efficiency goals of our organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, delivering, and performing the FSSC organization in India;
  • Collaborating with Global Process Owners, other Shared Service Centres, and Business Leaders to drive performance and strategic business objectives;
  • Building and scaling the team from 20 to over 100 employees, ensuring strong leadership and operational structure;
  • Developing strong relationships with internal customers and key collaborators across the organisation;
  • Leading the transition of finance operations from other locations to the Finance Shared Service Centre;
  • Aligning finance processes with global standards;
  • Improving integration and performance of each capability delivered by the FSSC organization through continuous improvement framework;
  • Defining and managing overall FSSC work standards and efficient methods of working;
  • Ensuring seamless collaboration with other Shared Service Centres to drive consistency and efficiency;
  • Supporting the integration of new systems and tools to improve operational financial capabilities;
  • Delivering measurable improvements in service delivery, accuracy, and turnaround time;
  • Monitoring and mitigation of all FSSC India financial and operational risks;
  • Accountable for ensuring high compliance environment within FSSC India with determined risk, controls, and compliance guidelines and policies;
  • Talent & Culture: lead cross-functional team across transactional Finance, lead Talent Agenda, establish high-performing Centre culture, and drive engagement, retention, career development, and performance within the FSSC India business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years experience with minimum 6 years shared services experience in leadership role;
  • Proven experience leading large-scale finance operations or shared services in multinational environment;
  • Proficiency in crafting and implementing operational finance processes or improvements across multiple geographies;
  • Ability to lead and grow high-performing teams through periods of transition and scale;
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships and navigating complex organisational structures;
  • Familiarity with shared service centre models and transformation initiatives;
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
