About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth in the modern trade segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to expand our presence in this critical market.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the modern trade landscape, including its complexities and opportunities. They will be able to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, and negotiate contracts that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Market Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to increase market share through brand awareness and targeted advertising campaigns.
  • Sales & Channel Management: Manage relationships with modern trade channels, including hypermarkets, metros, and online retailers, to achieve sales targets and ensure consistent growth.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Marketing & Brand Development: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in the modern trade segment.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and partners to drive business growth.
  • Experience in Modern Trade Sales: Proven track record of success in the modern trade segment, preferably in the tea or food industry.
  • Familiarity with MT Platforms: Understanding of modern trade platforms and retail chains, including their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Strong Business Planning Skills: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans to drive business growth.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities in the modern trade segment.
