Technical Support Professional

The role of a Technical Support Professional is a pivotal position in our organization, requiring an individual who can thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience working within a fast-paced setting, reacting to changing business needs, and collaborating effectively as an individual or part of a team.

About the Role

This role involves delivering top-notch technical support, encompassing all aspects of release management, production deployment, and validation. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in application maintenance and support, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

We are open to candidates from various backgrounds, including the investment-banking sector, as long as they possess the necessary skills and motivation to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional technical support to internal stakeholders
  • Assist in release management, ensuring smooth deployment and validation processes
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux Server environments, Shell Scripts, and Autosys scheduler
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork to drive project success
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle and SQL
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux Server environments and Shell Scripts
  • Autosys scheduler experience
  • Fair knowledge of Cobol and KIX
  • A flair for learning new tools and technologies
Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in application maintenance and support
