Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Credit and Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in collecting payments from clients, reconciling accounts, and performing daily receipt entries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collection follow up: You will be responsible for following up with clients to collect outstanding payments.
  • Reconciliation: You will reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Day to day receipt entry: You will enter receipts into the system on a daily basis.
  • Sending statements to clients: You will send fortnightly statements to clients detailing their account balances and any outstanding payments.
  • Customer visit: You may be required to visit clients to discuss their accounts and resolve any issues.
  • KYC process: You will complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process for new clients.

Requirements:

  • Competence in Microsoft Office and Excel: You must have strong skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Follow procedures, guidelines and policies: You must be able to follow established procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Presentation skills: You should present yourself well and have a go-getter attitude.
  • Excellent customer interaction and care skills: You must have excellent customer interaction and care skills and enjoy meeting customers.
  • Innovative thinker: You should be an innovative thinker with new recovery ideas and have excellent people management skills.
