U.S. 3rd Party Collections Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for resolving debt recovery issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and negotiating payment plans with debtors, locating and contacting debtors to initiate the recovery process, and negotiating settlements on recoverable debt.

  • Develop and negotiate payment plans with debtors:
    • Build strong relationships with debtors to ensure timely payments.
    • Negotiate payment plans that meet the needs of both parties.
  • Locate and contact debtors:
    • Use various methods to locate debtors, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
    • Effectively communicate with debtors to initiate the recovery process.
  • Negotiate settlements on recoverable debt:
    • Analyze data to identify potential settlement opportunities.
    • Negotiate settlements that benefit both the debtor and the company.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in international U.S. collections or sales.
  • HSC/Graduate degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
