Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Big Data professional to drive the development of robust data pipelines and contribute to our organization's growth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-volume data pipelines that handle financial data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data pipelines for stocks, crypto, and other financial datasets.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and data feeds into internal systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, storage, and transformation workflows (batch and real-time) to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide clean, structured, and scalable datasets, driving business insights and informed decision-making.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance to achieve optimal results.
  • Implement ETL/ELT best practices, data governance, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Contribute to the scalability and automation of our data infrastructure, fostering innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Big Data Engineer / Data Engineer in financial or crypto domains, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems, with hands-on experience in data pipeline tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, Prefect.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.), with a solid understanding of API integrations and real-time streaming data.
  • Familiarity with databases (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling, with a strong problem-solving skillset to tackle complex data challenges.
  • Solid understanding of stocks, cryptocurrencies, and financial data structures, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
