Human Resources Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Human Resources (HR) professional to oversee all facets of our HR operations. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives, focusing on managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with labor laws and organizational goals.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of staff members.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues that may arise.
  • Manage performance review processes and work closely with department heads on performance improvement plans.
  • Organize training and development initiatives to support employee growth and skill development.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports in compliance with audit and data privacy standards.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and inclusivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in HR or a related field.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and employee engagement tools.
