Dynamic Operations Leader Required

We seek a seasoned operational leader to spearhead the in-country delivery of our India strategy.

About the Role

This senior executive position entails overseeing operations, governance, and compliance for three entities, while managing a talented team of 11 professionals.

  • As the most senior representative in India, you will lead the local office, maintain statutory compliance, hold a directorship, and ensure seamless collaboration with international colleagues.

This role is based in Bengaluru and requires a minimum of 2 days per week on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate as legal representative and Director for all Indian entities, ensuring local laws and internal policies are upheld.
  2. Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning and reporting across all business units.
  3. Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team; mentor managers and foster a high-performance culture.
  4. Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact.
  5. Liaise with international teams to ensure operational alignment.
  6. Represent the organisation with confidence in legal, governance, and business forums.
Requirements
  • Proven operational leadership experience in India - ideally in a professional membership body, association or similarly regulated environment.
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour and agility.
  • Line management experience with the gravitas to lead national delivery.
