Job Summary
As a key member of the legal team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's strategic vision by providing expert guidance on contract development and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing a diverse range of contracts, including supply agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, tender documents, HR-related service contracts, transmission contracts, international contracts, NDAs, MOUs, standard T&Cs, and financing contracts.
- Ensuring effective risk mitigation, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with internal policies.
- Providing detailed legal opinions and guidance on various matters, including bidding strategy, right-of-way acquisition, transmission service agreements, share purchase agreements, indemnity claims, and contractual payment disputes.
- Conducting land-related due diligence and title verification for project development, assessing risks associated with land procurement and right-of-way.
- Reviewing final bid submissions for infrastructure projects, handling bid-related legal queries, and providing timely clarifications to ensure accurate submissions.
- Engaging in direct negotiations with external stakeholders and counterparties, ensuring favorable legal positioning while maintaining business objectives, and performing thorough risk analysis before entering into agreements.
