Talent Acquisition Coordinator

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in high-volume recruitment initiatives for a large Canadian bank.

  • Support the Recruitment Account Manager & Recruitment Managers in managing client recruitment life cycles.
  • Provide timely updates to contractors and consultants regarding contract renewals and terminations.
  • Assist the HR Manager with onboarding newly hired contractors, consultants, or employees.
  • Develop effective spreadsheets to track items like issue logs, interview logs, job posting logs, candidate logs, action item logs.
  • Attend team meetings and client meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting setup and reservations for senior management.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure new jobs are opened and updated daily.
  • Submit candidates through the client portal.
  • Review and track updates published on the client portal.
  • Develop knowledge of candidate sourcing and screening principles.
  • Support coordinating background checks and contract renewals.
  • Monitor recruiter performance and provide feedback for process improvements.
  • Support recruitment directly during high-volume periods.

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and recruitment tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities
