Job Title: Business Development Director

Job Summary:

Dataction is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive our business development and marketing efforts, supporting our ambitious goal to become a 1,000-person company within the next 2 years. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from identifying new business opportunities to leading marketing strategy, all while collaborating closely with the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the European market, while considering expansion into US and Middle East markets.
  • Establish relationships with potential clients and nurture existing relationships, promoting Dataction's unique offerings.
  • Lead sales processes, including prospecting, lead generation, sales meetings, RFP participation, and contract negotiations.
  • Represent Dataction at industry conferences, forums, and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up and closing.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to support business development goals.
  • Work with the marketing consultant and digital marketing agency to create effective marketing collateral, including sales presentations, brochures, case studies, and RFP responses.
  • Oversee the redesign of the Dataction website, ensuring it aligns with our branding and business objectives.
  • Manage Dataction's social media presence, crafting content that supports the company's unique value proposition and sales pitch.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop unique selling points (USPs) and refine the company's messaging.
  • Work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to align business development and marketing strategies with company goals.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members in business development and marketing, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • At least 12 years of experience in IT services sales/business development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets over $2M USD annually.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, particularly in the European market; experience with the US and Middle East markets is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of adaptability and resourcefulness.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
