Job Opportunity

The Vestas team is seeking a skilled and experienced PMO Specialist to join our APAC Service Management Office. This role is pivotal in enhancing excellence across regional and global service projects by improving governance, portfolio management, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of project standards, tools, and reporting frameworks, while partnering with sub-regional teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. The role demands an initiative-driven outlook, proficient analytical capabilities, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee governance and portfolio management processes for strategic APAC service projects
  • Develop and maintain standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project managers across sub-regions
  • Oversee cost-out initiatives, risk management, and change control processes
  • Continuous improvement through performance analysis and stakeholder feedback
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure transparency in project reporting
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or strategic operations in energy, infrastructure, or industrial services. Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SAP, Jira, Power BI) is also required.
