Director of Strategic Initiatives

Knowledge Networks is expanding its impact through new flagship initiatives, and we are seeking a visionary leader to manage and execute this ambitious portfolio.

  • This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills who can prioritize, plan, and implement complex projects.

The Director of Strategic Initiatives will work closely with the Founder, executive team, event partners, and sponsors globally to shape the future of global AI governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and strategic value.
  • Execution & Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives, develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors.
  • Sponsorship & Revenue Enablement: Support sponsorship strategy by aligning initiatives with corporate partner goals.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee initiative managers, consultants, and interns.

Requirements:

  • 10 – 15 years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, ideally in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
