Portfolio Risk Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Risk Manager to oversee our branch's valuation, technical audit, and standard processes. This role requires a high level of expertise in managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage valuations, technical audit, and standard processes to ensure accurate risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate portfolio movement, control loss, and maintain zero delinquency within required parameters.
  • Analyze policies and systems to deal with delinquent customers and publish MIS for daily collections and pending cases.
  • Ensure receipt of payments, recovery of bad debts, and monitor legal proceedings with internal and external legal teams.
  • Provide effective interdepartmental communication with operations, credit, and sales teams.
  • Facilitate competition mapping and market trends by collating information from the market.
  • Ensure compliance to all Audit, NHB, IRB regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure NPAs are kept at minimum trigger levels and recommend legal actions for stress contracts.
  • Manage productivity by fixing parameters for DMA agencies and collection executives.
  • Lead and supervise the collections team for recovery agenda implementation.
  • Develop systems that meet local requirements and identify correct channel partners.
