Job Title: Academic Leader

The ideal candidate will be the academic and administrative head of an institution, responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring academic excellence, maintaining discipline, and fostering holistic student development.

This role demands strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills to build a culture of quality education, innovation, and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement curricula that align with institutional goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students.

2. Administration & Governance:

  • Manage day-to-day administration, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations.
  • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff.
  • Maintain discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution.

3. Quality & Accreditation:

  • Drive accreditation processes for quality enhancement.
  • Implement continuous quality improvement in academics and infrastructure.

4. Student Development:

  • Cultivate extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities.
  • Ensure effective student support systems (mentorship, counseling, career guidance).

5. Industry & Community Engagement:

  • Foster collaborations with industry, universities, and research organizations.
  • Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs.

6. Financial & Resource Management:

  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and optimal utilization of funds.
  • Lead infrastructure development and maintenance.

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's Degree from a recognized university and a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership role, is required.
