Director Job Description

The role of the Director is to lead and manage the overall college, playing a crucial part in its administration and efficient conduct. This position offers an opportunity to join a prestigious institution that values quality education and innovation.

The Director will be responsible for integrating plans with those of the university, ensuring high-quality academic offerings. Key responsibilities include:

Academic Leadership
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an academic plan for the institute.
  • Establishing necessary policy and procedures to ensure high-quality academic offerings.
  • Responsible for overall planning, renewal, and development of academic programs.
  • Working closely with faculty and staff to ensure all academic goals are met.
Research Programs
  • Development and implementation of research policies as per guidelines.
  • Setting up processes and structures to facilitate high-quality research.
  • Initiating and promoting ethically accountable research, increasing research outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensuring policy and procedures comply with statutory guidelines.
  • Enforcing decisions and policies as per regulatory bodies' guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective delivery of academic programs/courses.
  • Satisfactory conduct of co/extra-curricular activities & campus discipline.
  • Responsible for overall academic process quality.
  • Annual recognition (AICTE); periodical accreditation (National and International- ACBSP/NBA); periodical equivalence (AIU).
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree with outstanding academic credentials, including a Ph.D. degree from a well-reputed institution.
Experience/Knowledge
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, with at least 3 Years at the level of Professor or 13 Years in research/industry.
  • Post-Ph.D. publications and guiding PHD students are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of best practices and research in curriculum, assessment, and instruction.
