Job Title

Government Sales Manager Railways

  • Manage and expand business with government clients, particularly in the railway sector.
  • Drive sales, develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers in Indian Railways and other government agencies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract finalization.
Sales Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets in the railway and government sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and stay updated on government policies and initiatives related to the railway industry.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including bidding processes, client negotiations, and finalization of contracts.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key government bodies, especially Indian Railways, Railway Boards, PSUs, and other relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, addressing inquiries and providing customized solutions.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring compliance with all specifications, technical requirements, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • A post graduate degree (MBA/PGDM) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the railway industry, government procurement processes, and the Indian governments policies related to railway modernization.
