Role Overview:
This strategic Account Manager position drives revenue growth and expands relationships with government sector clients, including key decision-makers in various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurture and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across multiple sectors.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions from a portfolio of services.
- Drive sales opportunities aligning with clients business and technical requirements.
- Develop account/territory plans, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Expand share of spend across multiple solution categories.
- Lead on large, complex, and high-value opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Evaluate government tenders and industry trends for strategic growth.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technology solution sales with a proven track record in government sector sales.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, HPC, storage, networking, and security.
- Exceptional customer management and strategic selling abilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with senior government officials.
- Aptitude for understanding how enterprise technologies solve business challenges.
