Your Title Lead Data Governance EngineerJob Location Chennai Remote Our Department AECO Sales OperationsAre you a motivated Data Governance engineer with demonstrated experience with Transformation projects Master Data and Data QualityWe are looking for an experienced data professional to take on the responsibilities of Data Governance engineer in Trimbles AECO sector You will be working as part of the Sales Operation Data Governance team with the responsibility of ensuring reliable data to stakeholders across sales ops marketing sales finances customer success and other In this role you will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across different functions to drive data governance best practice across key data sources We hope you share our passion for data driven decision making and we offer you a possibility to be at the forefront of driving data management in a globally operating company Come position yourself with an innovative and global organization and position yourself for success Your responsibilities will includeDocumenting guidelines processes and standards to setup maintain and streamline master data i e accounts hierarchies Set up and maintain master data and hierarchies Participate on data transformation projects including MDM data migration and system re-engineering Execution of data quality lifecycle from profiling to measuring business value Evaluating what is needed to solve a specific data problem performing root cause analysis and creating corrective action plans defining how to best achieve the desired outcome Engaging with stakeholders in a data ecosystem to ensure data governance and data quality requirements are met throughout the whole data product lifecycle Your background isBachelor s degree in Information Management Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Governance Engineer with a background in managing Master Data and Data Quality Experience with Account Master data standards operational and analytical processes systems metrics and E2E Data flow Experience with MDM Account data metadata hierarchy duplication validation rules tools and processes Experience with data profiling data quality rule set up root cause analysis data remediation data monitoring and data quality dashboards Knowledge of data enrichment tools i e D B Leadspace etc and processesKnowledge of Infomatica IDQ Address Dr SQL Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills By joining our team you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions that drive business growth and customer success Trimbles Inclusiveness CommitmentWe believe in celebrating our differences That is why our diversity is our strength To us that means actively participating in opportunities to be inclusive Diversity Equity and Inclusion have guided our current success while also moving our desire to improve We actively seek to add members to our community who represent our customers and the places we live and work We have programs in place to make sure our people are seen heard and welcomed and most importantly that they know they belong no matter who they are or where they are coming from
